The Packing is coming along :(

We are starting to make some progress on our packing. It is a sad event. Our house is all in a shambles. Boxes everywhere, piles of things, the walls are bare. It is depressing. It really doesn't feel like home anymore, but yet it still is. We kind of feel lost.

The pantry is empty and the kitchen is all packed

And there are piles of boxes everywhere you look

It is starting to seem more real now. At least we have blogs to keep track of what everyone is doing!!! lol. We're going to miss everyone!!!!!

Umm...Washington Here We Come!!

Well, we aren't moving to Hurricane, we're moving to Washington. The city, not the state. Larry found a house down there that was meant to be. It isn't necissarlily the most upgraded place, but it is nice. We can start moving stuff in any time!! It is less that a mile away from the High School, it's close to the Wal-Mart, and all the stores, and isn't too far from where Larry has to go to work. It is in the perfect area. We are so excited. The Lord really has blessed us.

Hurricane Here We Come!

So, this is a long story. We're moving to Hurricane, Utah!!! I know, I know, it's shocking!! We always said we would never leave Utah County, or the family, but alas, life has taken us for quite the ride. Larry has been driving to Wyoming for his job, and is gone all the time. His boss asked him if he wanted to try out a route that left from St. George and came to Salt Lake, and then back. He said he would try it out, because we needed some extra $$. Then we talked about it, and decided that we should consider taking the job permanently. We went down and stayed in Hurricane this past week, while he tried it out. We looked at a few houses too. Finally, we came to the conclusion that it was the best thing to do. Going to Wyoming in the winter isn't safe, and we don't want to risk it. So by the first of August we are moving. 300 miles away!!!!! It's really scary. We are saddened mostly by the fact that we won't get to see Jenny, Troy, and the kids often. We love you guys!! We are going to miss the family and all our friends. This has been home for all of our lives pretty much. It is exciting, but depressing all in the same moment. Hopefully this will be a good move. We have always wanted to retire down in sunny St. George, and maybe this is our opportunity. Good thing we have a blog now, to keep all our family and friends up here up to date on our lives. Don't worry, we'll visit. We can't stay away from home for long.

Here is a picture of St. George that I love.
