It has been a really long time since I updated this. 6 months. Lots has happened. Some of you might know that we lived in St. George....well.....we moved back!!!!! When I posted about our Disneyland trip, we had been back here for 2 weeks. So, ya, we've been here for 6 months, and I have neglected the blog :( So the story...We went to California for our Disneyland trip and family reunion. When we got back, which was about the 4th of August, we then came up to Salt Lake for my cousins wedding on the 6th. That night, my dad's bosses got fired, and they were going to have to rearrange the whole management. My dad has wanted to get some kind of supervisor or management job, since that is what he has the most exprience in. Well, everything happened really quickly. He got a supervisor job, that was based in Salt Lake, and he would drive to Albuquerque once a week. This was the opportunity we had been waiting for. It's no secret that I didn't particularly enjoy St. George ;) We accepted the job. That was about the 8th of August, and we moved on the 15th I think. School started on the 20th, and it has been a whirlwind. Things have been crazy, and the move was soo fast, but I am glad that we're back. Being back to see my beautiful nieces and nephew grow, and to stay close with them is so worth it. We love being back around family and friends, and everything that is familiar. St. George was an experience that is still kind of confusing for me, but I know that we were blessed for it, and that we grew closer together as a family.
Life has just been kind of crazy. I've been in school. My dad has been working. We enjoy seeing Jenny and the kids multiple times a week, and being a part of their lives. We get to see my extended family as well, which is fun, and I go to school with some of my cousins, who are my best friends. Christmas was great, and we were so glad to be here for Bella's 1st birthday. January is always kind of a hard month, but now at the end of February, we're excited to feel spring in the air. Things with my dad's job have changed yet again, but it is for the better. More details later :) We can look back and see how everything fell into place, and that the Lord hasn't forgotten us. We are soo blessed, and so glad to be back in our beautiful Utah county!
I will try to post Christmas, and some of the other happenings of our lives in the next few weeks.Laurenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03057556837954481025noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7765402372907378965.post-62173056868883545272009-08-31T13:39:00.000-07:002009-08-31T15:06:05.138-07:00Disneyland!!!
We went to Disneyland the end of July. We did 3 days and it was a blast. My mom was in a wheel chair, and let me tell ya, that is the way to do Disneyland! We were able to pretty much walk on all of the rides by going through the exits. We went on a total of over 40 rides in the 3 days, and rode some rides like Indiana Jones and Thunder Mountain 5 or 6 times. We did Splash Mountain 3 times, and most of the other rides except the kiddie rides in Fantasyland. We had park hoppers and spent time in California Adventure too. My favorite ride has always been and still is Tower of Terror! At least as far as Cali Adventure goes. We went with my aunt and uncle, Nan and Kelly, and my cousins, Darik, Amanda, Brady, and his new wife Kate. This was one of the best trips to Disneyland we've done. We consider ourselves pretty Disneyland savvy. :) We always have a plan and make time to just sit on Main Street and eat ice cream. In Cali Adventure, we always eat the bread bowls wih soup, and walk down the Hollywood Pictures Backlot. This trip was so fun, and exhausting. We closed the park down every night. After our 3 days, we had the Ibey family reunion in Oceanside. It was a fun weekend at the beach. We ate at Ruby's at the end of the Oceanside Pier. This whole trip was fantastic. We really enjoyed ourselves, and we really needed it. Now, here are pictures!!!!

Main Street USA

<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5376234780181220290" style="DISPLAY: block; We miss her like crazy. Even almost a decade later, it is so hard. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of her and miss her. I was 8 when she passed away, and it seems weird that that many years have passed. She was such an example of strength and had such a sweet spirit. She endured so much in her short 19 years, and I am grateful for her example to me. Even though it is hard, I know that she is where she's meant to be, and she is completing a mission on the other side that we can't comprehend. She has affected so many lives and she lives on in all of our hearts. Her heart struggles prevented her from having a normal childhood, but she loved life. She was a real tomboy, and refused to wear girl clothes. My memories aren't many but they are my most cherished ones. She loved legos, and the Backstreet Boys. Chocolate was her favorite, and she loved pens. She really did appreciate the little things, since she was not able to do many other things. I think that we can all learn from that. I feel extremely lucky to have had her as a sister, and even more grateful that we will be together again, and that all those lost years will be made up for in eternity. I love you Lynzi Marie! We miss you and look forward to that magnificent day when we will meet again!

Here are some pictures I had on the computer. Jenny had her baby, and we were so excited to find out that it was a girl. Bella is beautiful. We have been waiting for her for years and are so glad to finally have her here. She has a lot of hair!! We were shocked! Tati and Tanner were baldies :) It is soft and black, and we think she might end up having blue eyes! The other kids have brown. She is such a great addition to our family. She is a great baby. She hardly ever cries or fusses. She is very alert, it amazes us. We are truly grateful that all went well with Jenn's pregnancy and the c-section. She is recovering wonderfully. Here are some pictures. We love you Bells!

Our First glimpse!

Proud Big brother and Big sister

Holding their little sister for the first time!

With Grandma! We haven't done that for a long time. It was really fun. We are going to put lights up later this week. There were these really cool candles to put in the pumpkins that we got at walmart in the halloween section. They are liquid candles, and work better than having wax. Not much has happened in our lives. Over Labor Day weekend, Jenny, Troy and the kids came to stay the weekend. It was way fun. Jenn and Troy spent one night in Vegas and we had the kids for a slumber party. I took some pictures to frame and put in my room, but I can't find the cord for the digital camera! When I find it I will post them. Then around the thirteenth we went home to surprise everyone, and go to my cousin Baylee's baptism. Everyone was so surprised! We just spent the night and we went to our ward up there. Nothing much has happened since then, but this last weekend we had visitors! Grandma is now here to stay for 2 weeks, until my mom's doctors appointment next week. My uncle John and his wife Angie, brought her down and stayed in a hotel for the weekend. My aunt Nan and uncle Kelly decided to come for the weekend. They all rode together. We had fun going to dinner and visiting. On Saturday we went to some stores and then to dinner again at the Pizza Factory. On Sunday morning they left and grandma is staying... We watched conference and really enjoyed it and the messages. On saturday evening we went over to the St. George temple to see the visitors center and watch Legacy. They also have a short movie called Pioneer Miracle, which is so cute. We took a picture! We are starting to adjust. It is still hard, and I am really getting tired of the red dirt! I miss my mountains and everything that is so familiar.

We went to the movie today after I got out of school, and saw American Carol. It was cute and really had good points. It isn't something to see twice. I don't know what we are going to do that is fun. There isn't much here.

This is going to be a post of many different things! The first picture is of us at the St. George Temple.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_nSig5O269Pw/SOrJ05njmLI/AAAAAAAAAE8/X1FyMs7K5mg/s200/beautiesattemple.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5254233825938217138" />

Next, this was a while ago, the beginning of May. It is some of the girls of our family(not even a fraction though) who were dressed in black and white at my cousin Caitlyn's wedding.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_nSig5O269Pw/SOrKBv9kbPI/AAAAAAAAAFE/85OCENK6dso/s200/morecuties.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5254234046684490994" />

And this is a picture of what I did for a really fun Young Women activity. We went to the Dixie cliffs and repelled over the edge! It was so fun but so scary!! I went first just to get it over with! It was such a pretty view from up there.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_nSig5O269Pw/SOrKLKsHs4I/AAAAAAAAAFM/OAWp2LR-iuM/s200/dixiecliffs.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5254234208477885314" />

Well, that is a quick summary of what has been going on! When something exciting happens I will post it! For right now, life is boring :)Laurenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03057556837954481025noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7765402372907378965.post-49738499216700254302008-08-23T18:45:00.000-07:002008-08-26T18:19:10.416-07:00All Settled InWell, we've lived in St. George for 3 whole weeks. Can you believe it! We're starting to become more adjusted. The house feels like home, with all of our stuff in it. We finally hung pictures and put curtains up. All the boxes in the house are put away. Of course there is still a bunch of stuff in the garage that will get gone through eventually. We're actually starting to get used to the 100+ weather. When we go out we always say, Oh it's not bad out today! Then we realize that it is still 100 degrees, we're just used to it :) We live really close to the Wal Mart and all the stores. Robyn and Lauren make frequent trips to Del Taco for fish tacos and Neopolitan Shakes!! School started on the 12th!! It's crazy! We only live a few blocks away so Lauren walks home from school. Her right side is now tanner than her left, because the sun is on that side on her walk home. We have gone to church once, and the Relief Society Presidency came over yesterday to visit. I hope we'll like it. The Young Women's is really small. They thought having 4 miamaids was a full house! We love having Larry home more often. We are doing more as a family. We miss Jenny, Troy, and the kids like crazy!!!! We can't wait to see them again. We feel so far away from everything that happens at home. Robyn talks to her sisters and we keep up to date with the family, but we're not part of it. It has been harder than we ever imagined. It's just the 3 of us and the dog. We really have to rely on each other.

Robyn is making good progress with her recovery. She is starting to drive a little bit too. Lauren does most of the driving around town. She's mastered the In 'n' Out and Del Taco drive-thru! :) Robyn has trouble with her right eye. It gets irritated and tired really easy. But for the most part she is feeling really good. Her face is starting to unfreeze and get more feeling. We can see a huge difference in her. Well, I know this is a long post, but we haven't blogged for a while. We love to look at your blogs and see what is going on. We miss you guys!!Laurenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03057556837954481025noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7765402372907378965.post-24737772254403285952008-07-31T18:41:00.001-07:002008-12-08T22:36:49.021-08:00The Packing is coming along :(We are starting to make some progress on our packing. It is a sad event. Our house is all in a shambles. Boxes everywhere, piles of things, the walls are bare. It is depressing. It really doesn't feel like home anymore, but yet it still is. We kind of feel lost.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_nSig5O269Pw/SJJsFn5fe7I/AAAAAAAAAD0/E7Tz5Y6UV5E/s200/HPIM0442.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5229360961195834290" />
The pantry is empty and the kitchen is all packed

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_nSig5O269Pw/SJJsVayt8FI/AAAAAAAAAD8/Eb9mypAsoRk/s200/HPIM0443.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5229361232555667538" />
And there are piles of boxes everywhere you look

It is starting to seem more real now. At least we have blogs to keep track of what everyone is doing!!! lol. We're going to miss everyone!!!!!Laurenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03057556837954481025noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7765402372907378965.post-36906236506466185112008-07-16T10:47:00.000-07:002008-12-08T22:36:49.138-08:00Umm...Washington Here We Come!!Well, we aren't moving to Hurricane, we're moving to Washington. The city, not the state. Larry found a house down there that was meant to be. It isn't necissarlily the most upgraded place, but it is nice. We can start moving stuff in any time!! It is less that a mile away from the High School, it's close to the Wal-Mart, and all the stores, and isn't too far from where Larry has to go to work. It is in the perfect area. We are so excited. The Lord really has blessed us.

Here is a picture!
<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_nSig5O269Pw/SH41L33AoZI/AAAAAAAAADM/cXjkvBLNDg0/s200/our+house.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5223671095885865362" />Laurenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03057556837954481025noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7765402372907378965.post-88076804737995304162008-07-06T09:59:00.000-07:002008-12-08T22:36:49.399-08:00Hurricane Here We Come!So, this is a long story. We're moving to Hurricane, Utah!!! I know, I know, it's shocking!! We always said we would never leave Utah County, or the family, but alas, life has taken us for quite the ride. Larry has been driving to Wyoming for his job, and is gone all the time. His boss asked him if he wanted to try out a route that left from St. George and came to Salt Lake, and then back. He said he would try it out, because we needed some extra $$. Then we talked about it, and decided that we should consider taking the job permanently. We went down and stayed in Hurricane this past week, while he tried it out. We looked at a few houses too. Finally, we came to the conclusion that it was the best thing to do. Going to Wyoming in the winter isn't safe, and we don't want to risk it. So by the first of August we are moving. 300 miles away!!!!! It's really scary. We are saddened mostly by the fact that we won't get to see Jenny, Troy, and the kids often. We love you guys!! We are going to miss the family and all our friends. This has been home for all of our lives pretty much. It is exciting, but depressing all in the same moment. Hopefully this will be a good move. We have always wanted to retire down in sunny St. George, and maybe this is our opportunity. Good thing we have a blog now, to keep all our family and friends up here up to date on our lives. Don't worry, we'll visit. We can't stay away from home for long.

Here is a picture of St. George that I love.

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_nSig5O269Pw/SHD9HxVAYbI/AAAAAAAAADE/ZgASwJOwZaE/s200/stgeorge2.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5219950278064759218" />Laurenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03057556837954481025noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7765402372907378965.post-71549156227948879692008-06-30T11:17:00.000-07:002008-06-30T11:21:42.583-07:00RecoveryWell, it has been 12 days since Robyn had her brain surgery! Her Acoustic Neuroma tumor is gone at last!!! It was bigger than a golf ball!!! She spent 4 days in the hospital and has been making huge improvments. Her balance is still shaky since they had to cut the balance nerves, but the other side is starting to compensate and she's doing better. The tumor was wrapped around her facial nerve, so that got tugged around a lot, so for now the right side of her face is experiencing extreme weakness. She got the staples out of her head on Friday. Her incision looks really good. Her spirits are up, and she doesn't have much pain. Things are looking positive. We'll keep you posted on how she does!Laurenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03057556837954481025noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7765402372907378965.post-36405177774317838572008-06-29T20:29:00.000-07:002008-06-29T20:31:44.927-07:00Our BlogWell, here is our blog!!
